Communicating the Arts

The international conference for cultural leaders

Thank you to the Rijksmuseum, our delegates, speakers and all our partners for being part of an extraordinary conference in the Netherlands. Celebrating the 25th anniversary of Communicating the Arts, this year’s edition captured momentum that exceeded all expectations.

We loved reconnecting with familiar faces, meeting new ones, sharing experiences, exchanging ideas, and being inspired by each other’s work. The presence of young professionals from around the world also brought fresh energy and perspectives to the conversation.

Let’s keep the conversation going in 2026 for the next edition of Communicating the Arts in Ottawa-Gatineau.

Together, we drive change

Each CTA conference brings together 200 delegates, offering an unparalleled opportunity to connect, learn, and be inspired by the latest trends and issues in arts communication, education, and public engagement. With over 10,000 delegates and 40 cities under our belt, CTA has established itself as a must-attend conference for those seeking to advance their careers and make a positive impact on the world.

“Communicating the Arts is a great platform to have high-calibre conversations with my peers”

Anne-Laure Béatrix, General Administrator 2018, Louvre Museum

“The conference provides a robust platform to discuss how the new technologies challenge innovate museums by bringing together young, emerging and well-established cultural leaders, courageous change makers and disruptors from all over the world”

Dr. Natalia Grincheva, Programme Leader, BA (Hons) Arts Management LASALLE College for the arts, Singapore

Young leaders in the conversation

Emerging young leaders have a voice and we can truly learn from them. Our initiative selects 30 young professionals under 30 from around the world and sends them into our cultural institutions. Together, they express talent and knowledge to identify the best sustainable art experience. This initiative gives them access to our global network of 20,000 cultural leaders, strong professional base and job opportunities.
